Garland City Wheat and Beet Days
Garland City Wheat and Beet Days is a long-standing tradition in our community and one of the highlights of summer. From the parade to the events and fair, it is a celebration that families look forward to each year.
This year’s Wheat and Beet Days celebration will be held August 7–8. As part of the summer festivities, the Children’s Charity Theater will present The Little Mermaid Jr., with performances running July 16–18.

There are always fun activities including the Fun Run to benefit the Garland city Library, the softball and baseball championships, Little Mr. and Little Miss, the parade, Good food, fun booths put on by locals, music, a movie in the park, and so much more. Garland City works hard to put on a bigger and better Garland City days. We do not own the rights to the music.

Fun Run
The Fun Run is always a blast. Many people join for the practice and to support the Garland Library. Every level is welcome. Don’t be afraid to join. Walk, jog, or run, it is fun!

Youth Musical
Support our local kids and the Garland Charity Theater by coming out to see the show! Tickets are available from any of the kids or can be purchased at the door.
